Thursday 18th June – windsurf ** - The Dip, Felixstowe – sunny.

F2 Ride 282 with 38 fin and Tushingham Lightning 7m.

Fin – 21.22 knot max, 19.53 knot ave ., 5.59 knot hour, 14.53 knot mile, 15 km., 12.28 knot alpha

Didn’t expect to get out today as not much forecast but then suddenly a brief spell of wind came in during the afternoon so headed down to the Dip even though the tide was not ideal. Loads of wind when I arrived so rigged 7m and took out my 115 but sadly it was marginal at best and sadly dropping all the time and the sea was its usual lumpy mess. After a few runs I came ashore to rig my 7.8 for the 133 but the wind went too light to bother going out again even if the foiling kiter was going well! Still had a nice chat before heading home, fingers crossed we get more wind tomorrow!
